Job Description: Identify, evaluate,and select reliable vendors and suppliers. Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings. Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) as per company requirements. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance. Collaborate with stores, production, and accounts departments to forecast demand. Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and overstocking. Handle vendor complaints, rejections, and replacement of defective goods. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Assist in vendor audits and performance reviews. Preference: Candidates with prior vendor development and negotiation experience in the mechanical/automobile component sector are desirable. Knowledge in ERP. Candidates experienced in handling purchase for rig, mining, or borewell equipment will be prioritized. Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. 1–5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement (manufacturing industry preferred). Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Tally/ERP systems. Knowledge of sourcing and market research. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
